Terms of Service

Last updated: {{EFFECTIVE DATE}}

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SignalOps, operated by {{LEGAL ENTITY — e.g. “SignalOps Ltd.”}}. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using SignalOps on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorised to do so.

The service

SignalOps connects to the chat and work-tracker tools you authorise, analyses the content you select using a language model, and produces structured signals and analytics. Features and integrations may change over time.

Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password secure and notify us of any unauthorised use.

Your data and your authority to connect it

You retain ownership of the content you connect and the signals derived from it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right and any necessary permissions to connect a given workspace and to have its content analysed, and for complying with the terms of the tools you connect (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Linear, Jira, Asana, ClickUp) and with applicable law, including notifying and obtaining any consents your organisation or its members require.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure.
  • Do not connect data you are not permitted to process.
  • Do not resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record and whose terms also apply to your purchase. Subscriptions renew for the period you selected unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and your paid access continues until the end of the current period. Refunds, where applicable, are handled in line with Paddle’s buyer terms and any refund terms we publish.

Intellectual property

SignalOps, its software, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership in the service to you.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. SignalOps produces analysis generated by language models, which can be incomplete or wrong; it is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for your own judgement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by {{GOVERNING LAW — e.g. “the laws of England and Wales”}}, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
